STUDIO WONDERINGS AND WANDERINGS

Studio is a place for thinking and making sense of stuff: a place of study. Studio is playing with ideas, materials, words, and movement. My studio is times of wondering and wandering in playful lands of artistic explorations with people of all ages. Here's my travel log.

A good, busy, happy year

2017/2018 will be a busy year.  A good-busy one!

I am thrilled to join the faculty of the School of Visual Arts at PennState University’s College of Art and Architecture, where I will be working with graduate and undergraduate students at our Saturday Art School (SAS). SAS has been a tradition in the community for a long time, and many parents and grandparents of our current students were Saturday School students themselves.  I look forward to welcoming preK-12 students for Saturday art making soon!

My role as an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University Teachers College will also continue, so I will keep spending some of each week playing with materials and stuff at the University’s Rita Gold Early Childhood Center and with my graduate students in the Art & Art Education Program too.

I’m looking forward to a school year split between Happy Valley and Manhattan - I’m sure it’ll be a good, busy, happy one.
