Happy Holidays!

Much of the holiday season is family season to me. I am lucky to enjoy plenty of time with my young cousins, working on making presents for the whole family and writing and rehearsing a play in which everyone has their role.

Year after year, the older children move on, and new children come along. Year after year, we come up with new stories and new songs, as we create new memories and cherish old ones. Year after year, we grow and play together.

So many of these memories become common family memories, and no one is quite sure anymore who was actually there that year or not. Stories that are told and re-told every season, as the children state they want to play and work together like this forever, even as they grow-up to have children of their own. And I hope they do.
